What makes this storage box special is its fully removable lid that features an evocative pop art rendition of Jackie Ickx's Ferrari 312B en route to an unexpected and humbling retirement at the 1971 British GP. Despite Ferrari's famous flat-12 312B enjoying a power advantage at the high speed Silverstone circuit, both Ferraris faded through the race with severe tyre degradation. Ickx retired with a disintegrating front tyre while Regazzoni's oil pressure disappeared during an unscheduled tyre change.


This is a robust, high quality storage box with a rich, glossy enamel-like inlaid print of Ickx's legendary Ferrari. It would be perfect for holding smaller objects like wallets, keys and keyfobs, remote controls and the like. It is heavy to the touch and feels very rigid, especially with the lid clipped in place.
