This drawing captures the legendary Williams-Renault FW14b "Red 5" that carried Our Nige to his long-overdue 1992 World Championship victory reunited after 30 years with Nigel Mansell at Goodwood in 2022.

Our Nige was the archetypal warrior racing driver, and he came so agonisingly close so many times to winning the World Championship his talents so richly deserved. 1992 would be the final roll of the dice, and he knew it. After multiple years in machinery that was just not up to the task, Nigel finally had a car that could do the job. And only Nigel had the strength and the sheer courage to extract the performance from the "unnatural-feeling" active suspension FW14b. He was virtually unbeatable in 1992, and won the Championship at a canter in Hungary. Being reunited with his FW14b after 30 years was more than emotional for Nigel, and you could see the memories etched on his face. What a special reunion this was.
