Tom Pryce powersliding the Shadow DN5 at the 1975 Swedish GP - Limited Edition Giclee Print
"The Brightest of Talents"
This drawing captures the tragic Tom Pryce gloriously powersliding the Shadow DN5 at the 1975 Swedish GP. It is fine artist Mark J Davey's tribute to Welshman Tom Pryce, one of the brightest driving talents that F1 has ever seen, driving at his exuberant best. Tom Pryce was an extraordinary talent on an unstoppable upward career trajectory when he collided with a track marshal unbelievably carrying a fire extinguisher across the track during the 1977 South African GP; both Pryce and the marshal being fatally injured in the collision. Pryce remains the only Welshman to win a Formula 1 GP.
Originally rendered in pencil and pastel by fine artist Mark J Davey, this piece is reproduced using specialist, fine art giclee printing methods.
Limited to 50 numbered examples and is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
